Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the Kwara State Governor, on Wednesday expressed regret that the MoU on the aviation college, Ilorin signed before he took over power, between the Nigerian Navy and the previous government in the state was abused.
He, however, assured that the present administration was ready to right the wrongs and prevent a reoccurrence while various corrective measures had already been taken on the violations in the MoU between the Nigerian Navy and the aviation college.
Receiving the Officer Commanding of the Naval Training Command, Rear Admiral Kamaldeen Adefemi Lawal, on a visit to Government House, Ilorin, on Wednesday, governor Abdulrazaq, said ”the abuse does not affect the Navy alone but also the Airforce.
“We have since re-engaged with the airforce. Unfortunately, we have not succeeded with the Navy yet. We look forward to a new engagement,” he stated.
