Some Port-Harcourt based journalists have been attacked by hoodlums in Rumuagholu community, Obio Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State. The journalists said they were in the community to cover a media briefing on a disputed piece of land when they suddenly came under attack. There was confusion in Osun state chapter of Social Democratic Party, SDP, on Thursday as Elder Femi Awe who imposed himself as the Acting Chairman of the party was whisked away by the police during a program organized for the party. Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has urged the Nigerian Army to eliminate the leaders of Boko Haram and bandits just as they killed Ikonso Don, commander of the Eastern Security Network, ESN.
