COVID-19 vaccines: Katsina Govt moves to administer COVID-19 vaccines on 2021 intending pilgrims

In preparation for the 2021 hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia, The Katsina Pilgrim Welfare Board has scheduled a date to administer COVID-19 vaccines on all 2021 hajj intending pilgrims from the state.

According to a statement credited to the Public Relations Officers of the Katsina State Pilgrim Welfare Board, Bello Badaru, the COVID-19 vaccination exercise for 2021 intending hajj pilgrims would begin on the 8th April, 2021 in all the Pilgrims Welfare Board offices across the State.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in a statement last week said starting from the holy month of Ramadan 2021, only intending pilgrims certified to have been inoculated against COVID-19 will be allowed to observe prayers and Umrah in the holy city of Mecca.
