Once, while I was ministering in church, I saw two experts in what I was doing laughing. I wasn’t sure why they were laughing, but I just felt they were both laughing at me.
Immediately, I felt myself confidence deflect. Sad thing is I kept on looking their way and my confidence keep on decreasing.
Fortunately, I realized that the more I look that way, the less my confidence grews, so I had to stop.
When we see ourselves in situations where we feel we are being ridiculed, if you don’t have the inner stamina to go blank to the ridicules, please walk away.
We may feel we will overcome but sometimes, the ridicules eat us up faster than we thought we’d overcome.
Walk away, go fix your shortcomings and, if need be, come back better and bigger.
Staying in the old spot for long may puncture the confidence you have in yourself.
